Under Graduate (B.A., B.Sc. & B.Com.) Subject Combination for 2016

Subject combination for B.A. / B.Sc. (Honours & General) Course are as under :
Emglish and one Modern Indian Language (MIL) are compulsory. Hindi / Bengali / Urdu are offered as Mordern indian Languages. Students are to choose the Honours Subjects and two Elective Subjects taking one subject only from a group. Music may be opted as a Non-Taught subject.

• The Vernacular (Hindi / Bengali / Urdu - First / Second Language) studied in Class XII will be considered as the candidate’s MIL.
• Candidates not having any of the above Vernaculars in Class XII will opt for Alternative English.
• Seats in Elective subjects are limited. Candidates will be accommodated in the subject if seats are available.
• Seats in Elective Journalism and Mass Communication and Sociology are limited. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in English in Class XII.
