2. English 70 % ADMISSION TEST + 30 % (Aggregate%) in the Qualifying Examination
3. Sanskrit Aggregate + Sanskrit%
4. Urdu Aggregate + Urdu % + English %
5. Persian DIRECT ADMISSION Applicant to contact the Dept. after submitting form.
6. History Aggregate + History %
7. Philosophy Aggregate + English % / Bengali % (whichever is higher)
8. Political Science Pol. Sc % / Related subjects (##) % (If  Pol.Sc. exists then it must come in index else whichever is higher among the related subjects) + Language Marks% (English / Bengali whichever is higher).
9. Sociology Aggregate % + Subject % / Related subjects ($$)%  (If  Sociology exists then it must come in index else whichever is higher among the related subjects)
10. Hindi Aggregate + Hindi %

(If a candidate has both Mathematics and Business Mathematics / BEBM, then marks of Mathematics to be added to Aggregate)

On the basis of these Qualifying Marks (Q.M.) First 300 candidates to be called for Written Test (W.T.) (Two separate lists: Arts & Science to be prepared. Commerce candidates to be included in Arts list.)

Final list: Q.M. (50%) + W.T. (50%)
4. Geography Aggregate % + Geography %
5. Mathematics 2 x Mathematics% + Aggregate
6. Physics Aggregate Best 4 + 2 x Physics % + Mathematics %
7. Microbiology Physics % + Mathematics % + 2 x Chemistry % + 2 x Biology % / Biotechnology % (whichever is higher).

On the basis of these Qualifying Marks (Q.M.) list to be prepared and all candidates to be called for Interview (I)

8. Statistics Aggregate + 2 x (Statistics % / Mathematics %) whichever is higher
9. Zoology 2 x (Biology %  / Biotechnology %) whichever is higher + Chemistry%
