Admission Guidelines for Admission to Undergraduate Courses 2016

• Please click on the banner Apply Now to open the application form for online submission. The fields marked (*) are mandatory. Until they are filled up the form will not be submitted.
• Please type out your full name. Select your HS stream, Caste from the provided popup.
• Please just key in a few characters of the Subject names and they will appear as popup. Select any from them. You can NOT manually write any subject name. Do key in the ENVS marks in the designated space only. Enter your Full marks, Pass Marks and Your Marks in the blocks provided. The % of marks and Best 4% will be automatically calculated and displayed.
• Click on the preview your marks button and ensure marks entered are accurate. If not please correct them.
• Select your preferred courses by selecting the Stream and Honours /General type. Please ensure that you select the courses you are eligible for. Clarify your eligibility criteria displayed in the admission portal.
• The courses available will appear as subject combinations from which they can be chosen.
• In the personal details section select your gender, Marital status, co-curricular activities, date of birth from a given calendar, religion, ration card category, whether a first generation learner, qualifying examination name, year of passing, board at 10+2 level, 10+2 school name, 10+2 roll no, residential address, permanent address, nearest railway station, email address, phone number, mobile number, nationality, state name, blood group, father’s name, mother’s name, guardian’s name, annual income, guardian’s occupation and guardian’s phone number.
• Upload your photograph within 100 KB. Select the mandatory preview button and ensure all data provided by you is accurate. Now click on the Confirm button to submit the form and go back to edit button to modify.
• AS SOON AS YOUR FORM IS SUBMITTED A FORM NUMBER WILL BE GENERATED.
• PLEASE NOTE IT DOWN FOR ALL FURTHER PROCESSES.
• Now you can view /print your application form and triplicate copies of your challan.
• PRINT YOUR APPLICATION FORM IN DUPLICATE.
• Payment of the processing fee has to be made at the designated bank branches along with the challan.

UNTIL YOU PAY THE REQUISITE PROCESSING FEE YOUR FORM WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED VALID FOR THE MERIT LIST.

• This Online Admission Portal is meant for the serious applicants who are willing to seek their berth at Deshbandhu College for Girls for B.A. / B.Sc./ B.Com. Part – I Hons/ General and BBA for the ensuing session.
• This application is meant for provisional admission subject to approval of University of Calcutta.
• It is assumed that the information furnished in this application is true to the best of the knowledge of the applicant. In case of any false/ misleading information, the application will be summarily rejected.
• It is also assumed that the applicant is applying voluntarily on her own discretion without being influenced by any third party. The College Authority will never entertain any claim regarding this.
• Applicants willing to seek admission must commit to follow the rules and regulations of the college and the University of Calcutta, which may be amended in due course of time.
• Application does not confirm to Admission.
• In case of Admission, the decision of the Admission Committee/ College Authority will be deemed to be final and no queries will be entertained.
• The college authority reserves the rights of admission/ rejection of any applicant/ candidate irrespective of the caste/ creed/ gender/ financial & social status without assigning any reason whatsoever.
• In case of fraudulent activities/ misconduct observed even at a later stage, the candidate/ student may be debarred from the college at the sole discretion of the College Authority.
• Any attempt to intrude with vested interests is subject to punishment as per laws.
