Undergraduate Admission Guideline 2021

ADMISSION GUIDELINE
[Application Dates : 02.08.2021 – 20.08.2021]

  • The applicants should first acquaint himself/herself with the relevant rules and regulations available on the college website before applying. Read the college prospectus for this.
  • The applicants should also check the eligibility criteria in his/her preferred subject on this webpage.
  • The applicant has to click on the link “Click Here for fresh Application” on the Home Page and a Log-in creation/ Registration form will be opened.
    NOTE: This Log-in/ Registration is only for the application process for the ensuing UG admission to Ananda Chandra College and has got no relation with University Registration or any other registration process
  • Fill up the Log-in creation/ Registration form with utmost care. The information entered in this form can not be changed/ modified/ deleted/ edited in the future.
  • In the log-in/ registration form you have to provide a mobile number.
    Ensure that it is applicant’s or guardian’s own phone number
    This phone number will be used by the college to communicate with the applicant.
    Ensure that you keep this phone number active for the entire duration of study at Ananda Chandra College.
  • Once registered, the applicant will receive the application number and password in the registered mobile number for log in.
    NOTE: Registration has to be completed using unique mobile number only
    NOTE: Forgotten Password can be retrieved by clicking on retrieve your password link.
    NOTE: Password can be changed by clicking on change your password.
    NOTE: Mere filling up the registration form or creating the login credentials does not ensure complete application process.
  • After registration process is over, the applicant has to go to the Application Section by clicking on “Click Here to Proceed” and enter the log-in credentials.
  • In the Application Section, the applicant should fill up all the relevant data.
    NOTE: There are several Tabs over which an applicant has to fill the data.
    Applicants are suggested to consult “CBCS Subject Guidelines” in the Prospectus to properly fill up the preferred subject combinations.
    If any candidate does not have a ration card or does not know the ration card category, he/she may choose “AAY” option in the ration card section. In that case uploading of scanned copy of the ration card will not be mandatory.
  • The data filled in Application Section can be edited after log in with valid credentials (Not the registration section data).
  • On successful completion of the application form, the applicants may submit the form after paying the requisite application fees. The candidate may also take a print out of the form and the challan of the application fees.
    NOTE: Incomplete applications will NOT be considered for Merit List.
    NOTE: Application form number can be retrieved by clicking on search your form number.

Provisional Merit List
[To be published on 26.08.2021]

  • The College will publish provisional merit lists for all subjects/ program courses for all valid applicants on the scheduled date.
    Note: Candidates are strongly advised to check the schedule of admission process published in the website.
  • If any candidate has got any doubt/ clarification/ mistakes regarding the provisional merit list, he/she should send an email to admission.accjal@gmail.com detailing the issue/ problem within specified date & time.
    Last date for correction: 29.08.2021 upto 03:00 PM.
    Note: No email / phone-call regarding merit list after the stipulated timelines will be entertained.

Final Merit List
[To be published on 31.08.2021]

  • A Master Merit list containing the rank of all candidates will be published by the college.
  • Admission process takes place in several phases.
  • There will be admission merit lists for each phase.
  • Candidates securing a place in a particular merit list has to look for his/ her name in the list and click on the admit button corresponding to his/ her name for admission.
  • The candidate will have to login using the application number and password.
  • Once logged in, the payment page will be opened and the candidate has to pay the requisite fee to get provisionally admitted.
    All admissions MUST be treated provisional subject to University approval.
    The admission schedule of all merit lists and duration is published in the Admission site at the beginning. Candidates are required to carefully note the dates and admission timelines.
    If any schedule is missed by the candidate, he/she will be treated as “chance lost” and NO CLAIM regarding admission will be entertained afterwards.
    The College tries its best to send SMS to candidates securing a berth in the particular merit lists, but SMS may fail due to various technical/ network issues. Hence the college does not guarantee delivery of SMS to each and every candidate.
    Thus Candidates are asked to carefully watch each admission merit list without fail.

Transfer

  • Transfer means change of course of study. This is available during the admission process only.
  • An already admitted candidate may proceed for transfer to another course in the subsequent phases, provided he/ she secures a chance in that course.
  • The candidate has to Click on the Transfer button against his/ her name in the merit list, login and pay the requisite fees.
    Note: Once transferred, the previous admission will be cancelled and the candidate will not have any claim whatsoever for any seat of the earlier admission.

Cancellation of Admission

  • If any candidate wants to cancel his/ her admission from the college, he/she has to click on the Cancel Your admission Link.
    NOTE: The candidates have to provide the Bank details at the time of cancellation. The admission fees less the stipulated fees (as per UGC guidelines & state Government rules) will be refunded to this Bank account as early as possible.
    NOTE: Once cancelled, the candidate will not have any claim whatsoever for any seat of the said admission.
