ARCH College of Design & Business conducts AIEED (All India Entrance Examination for Design) for Undergraduate & Postgraduate courses in Design. AIEED was launched & conducted by ARCH College in Year 2010.

In 2011, AIEED was converted to an Online Exam & was made easily accessible for interested students to take from anywhere in the world. It has interactive components at its core and a random selection of questions from specially formulated question banks at its peripheral. This interesting online exam is designed to facilitate ease of use for students, and help assess abilities supporting aspirations for a career in Design.

Undergraduate (UG) Level Courses
Students who have Appeared for/Cleared Class 10+2 (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board/NIOS or equivalent as per UGC Guidelines) are eligible to write AIEED Exam.

Class 10+1 Students can also write AIEED 2020. Qualifying students will be eligible for direct admission in the academic year 2021 after clearing the interview and portfolio stage.

PTE Exam (Academics) to be cleared within 1 year of course commencement for progression to UK University

Postgraduate Level Courses
Graduates or students pursuing graduation in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for this course.

This 'examination' and its parts and stages will in actuality be exercises to enable you to give us A COMPLETE INTRODUCTION TO YOURSELF, and in the process, help us discover the real you - We want to know WHO YOU ARE as against 'How good your skills are....'

We are really NOT very interested only in your drawing and painting skills- the boringly common training given by Coaching Centres to supposedly help you get admission to Design Institutions. We at ARCH wish to give you the most authentic and genuine chance to show yourself beyond the superficiality of these few taught – learned - practiced skills.

We are VERY INTERESTED in HOW you THINK. In your Perceptions, Attitude and Approach towards the world that surrounds you. Not so much in your knowledge, but more in your Openness to Learn, Perseverance, Focus and Toughness to take on challenges in the process of Creative Problem Solving. AND your ability to SURVIVE sanely in a creative environment!

We want potentially introspective and thinking aspirants with the right spirit and attitude to take up Design as a responsible profession.

This Entrance Screening for Design therefore has the bare minimum of the usual Question – Answers approach.

The Exam will be EXPERIENTIAL, USEFULLY EDUCATIVE, and FUN (unlike school education ! ..and all other Entrance Screenings for Design)

As a bold and innovative step in Screening for Design 2021, ARCH is going to test student aspirants in the areas of specializations they aspire to, or choose from the available fields of Design.

The Complete Entrance Screening for Design Process is aimed at examining

• 'ATTITUDE' as against the existing, overly measured, 'APTITUDE'. It will evaluate and assess:
  • Psychological Consonance and Endowments for Design eg. Empathy, creativity, toughness etc
  • Openness
  • Perseverance & Focus
  • Sense of Humour / appreciation of humour / connections
• COMMUNICATION SKILL – in the broadest all encompassing sense – Visual, Verbal, Conceptual, Interpersonal Transactional.
• SITUATIONAL THINKING & PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS – actual application towards results – ie Multiple Solution Generation Ability.

Step 1. Simply fill the request form and we will contact you.

Step 2. Fill the online application form, choose your preferable exam date

Step 3. Complete your AIEED Screening Process
Once you complete your process, Admission results will be declared by June end.

Step 4. On successfully passing the Entrance Screening for Design, the completion of formalities is required to ensure the booking of a seat, if available, on the preferred Design course.

In these new times, we have started with VIRTUAL Tours and Counselling Sessions to give you the opportunity to get a sense of what College life is like and to pick up a wide range of useful information. In this session we will cover details about the subject of your choice, introduce the College and take you on a virtual walk through the campus. You can also book an Appointment to interact with the Subject Coordinator for One to One Counselling & interact with students and alumni.

  Design Dhara is the first Digital Design Conference aiming to acquaint school and college students & enthusiasts of art, craft and design, with the world of Design, its processes, techniques, career options… the industry.... You will get the chance to participate in workshops and demonstrations, free career counselling sessions, and much more. Most importantly, you will get to hear, meet, and interact with the inspirational ‘Who’s Who’ stalwarts of Design and the Creative Industries.

The application form fee is INR 3000/- only, which can be paid by choosing any of the following options. Pay either using Debit/Credit Card & use our Online Payment Gateway if you wish to make Online payment

Scholarship will be given to students on the basis of the following criteria: (any one would be applicable)

• Cumulative Result from 3 stages of AIEED Exam,
• Performance in past qualification,
• Income of the family,
• Ward of a single mother, Servicemen, Craftsmen or artisan etc.
• One Girl Child Scholarship
• Domicile scholarships for Rajasthan Students

The scholarship will be awarded on first come first served basis and would be valid for a certain time-period. Once all the scholarships are claimed, further students would not be considered for the same, even if they fulfil all the requirements.
