ARCH College of Design & Business performs AIEED screenings for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Design courses. AIEED was launched in the year 2010 and since then ARCH conducts it every year as a process to select students for the various courses at the college. 2011 saw the conversion of AIEED into an online screening.This made it easily accessible to interested students who couldparticipate in the Screening from anywhere in the world. This interesting online Screening has interactive components and is designed to help assess abilities and the attitude to support aspirations for careers in Design.

As a bold and innovative step, in the Screening for Design 2022, ARCH is going to test you aspirants in known areas of life, to gauge your perceptions, attitude and approach towards the world that surrounds you. We are mainly interested in HOW you think.As a valuable spinoff, you will get toincrease your knowledge and learn more about yourself, giving you the most genuine opportunity to show your authentic self beyond the superficiality of a few skills that are taught and practiced.It will enableyou to give us a COMPLETE INTRODUCTION TO YOURSELF and allow us to GAUGE YOUR INHERENT STRENGTH of purpose and aspirations.

The veryintention of this admissions process is to gather individuals who are introspective and aware, with potentially the right attitude and spirit to pursue Design as a responsible career. It is our aim to then teachthem, and support them well,and to point them in individual directions that help them attain goals along the different pathways,according to their strengths and interests.

The Screening is thus, EXPERIENTIAL, USEFULLY EDUCATIVE, and FUN. (And your drawing and painting skills are not the only thing we want to see!)

The completeprocess of the Entrance Screening for Design Studies is aimed at examining-
ATTITUDE - Perseverance, Openness to learning, Initiative, Interest, Curiosity

COMPREHENSION & ARTICULATION skills - Visual, Verbal, Conceptual, Interpersonal, Transactional - shown while doing Creative Tasks, addressing Creative Concepts, and expressing Points of View, Opinions (via Speech, Writing, Drawing, Video& other audio visual Records of the Process followed)

APTITUDE - Ability to Plan, Research, & to Organise time, Sensitivity to needs, Unusual Awareness of Environment, Awareness of Design, Associative Ability, Analytical Ability, Lateral Thinking Ability, Idea Generation ability

Here's a brief OVERVIEW of the AIEED SCREENING for Design Studies - Itconsists of:
Part 1: Portfolio of Abilities (PoA) and Statement of Purpose (SoP) This gives you a chance to give us A COMPLETE INTRODUCTION TO YOURSELF along with the reasons for your aspirations.

Part 2 CATAScreening (Comprehension, Awareness, Thinking & Articulation) You are required to do any ONE out of the TWO tasks given to you.

Part 3 PED Screening (Psychological Endowments for Design)
It is aimed at a basic assessment of your Psychological Endowments for Design (PED)

The stages and all its parts below are mandatory and are assessed and marked by our admissions panel and is important for merit placements towards scholarships.

Applying to ARCH is a 1-2-3-4 steps experience.
Step 1. Simply fill the request form and we will contact you.
Step 2. Fill the online application form, choose your preferred Online Screening date
Step 3. Complete your AIEED Screening Processfrom 01 to 02, after which Admission results will be declared.
Step 4. On successful selection for admission, you are required to complete the formalities to ensure the booking of seats, if they areavailable, on your preferred Design course.

Undergraduate (UG) Level Courses
Students who have Appeared for/ or Cleared Class 10+2 (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board/NIOS or equivalent as per UGC Guidelines) are eligible to participate in the AIEED Screening for Design Studies. Class 10+1 Students can also write AIEED 2022,and qualifying students will be eligible for direct admission in the academic year 2023 after clearing the interaction and PoA stage.

Postgraduate Level Courses
Graduates or students pursuing graduation in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for this course.

The Application Form fee is INR 3000/- only, which can be paid by choosing any of the following options-
1. Debit/Credit Card;
2. Use our Online Payment Gateway if you wish to make an Online payment.

Scholarship will be given to students on the basis of the following criteria: (any one would be applicable)

• Cumulative Result from 3 stages of AIEED Exam,
• Performance in past qualification,
• Income of the family,
• Ward of a single mother, Servicemen, Craftsmen or artisan etc.
• One Girl Child Scholarship
• Domicile scholarships for Rajasthan Students

The scholarship will be awarded on first come first served basis and would be valid for a certain time-period. Once all the scholarships are claimed, further students would not be considered for the same, even if they fulfil all the requirements.

The Admission office helps the International students looking for admission in Undergraduate or Post Graduate Programmes at the ARCH College. This office provides career counselling for the students to enable them to choose academic fields of their interest.

An International Students Advisor looks after the interests of the international students and co-ordinates all activities related to them with the affiliated University/ Institution. This office examines all the documents such as mark sheets and academic certificates to assess the eligibility of the students and their equivalence for the admission to various courses and takes care of admitting International Students for pursuing higher studies. Visa, Passport and No objection Certificates issued by the Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India are examined from time to time so that International Students do not face any difficulty over the course of time.
