Method to Admission
Register for and take PESSAT/ KCET/ both (if eligible) OR register for admission through JEE Mains score from the link https://www.pessat.com/. Participate through counseling to compete for a merit seat based on PESSAT/ KCET/ JEE Mains score/ rank. If a candidate wants to compete through both PESSAT quota and JEE Mains quota, he/she must register separately for B.Tech and B.Tech (JEE) from https://www.pessat.com/. Provisional blocking of seats through higher fee/management/NRI/PIO/OCI/Sponsored quota is also possible. Approach the Office of Admissions at PES University.
Eligibility Criteria
No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 50% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
Note: The above relaxation shall be valid for the admission in academic session 2023-2024 only, irrespective of the year in which a candidate has passed 10+2 or 10+3 examination.
The candidate needs to qualify an aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA (i.e. JEE) or “NATA” conducted by the Council of Architecture.
Method to Admission
Candidates should register for PESSAT but test will not be conducted by PES University. Instead, after registering to PESSAT, candidate should upload their NATA/ JEE Paper 2 score once they get it along with their 12th/ 2nd PU scores. PES University will announce ranks based on the uploaded ranks and scores and will conduct counseling based on these ranks. Candidates appearing through KCET should attend counseling at KCET cell and get admission order to our University for admissions. Provisional blocking of seats through higher fee/management/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI/ Sponsored quota is also possible. Approach the Office of Admissions at PES University.

Register and take PESSAT. Interview should be attended on the same day of test on campus (candidate to get their creative portfolio works for added benefit). Result will be shared with the candidate within 3 working days after test. If selected, can proceed with admissions. If the candidate has taken UCEED, then he/she must register for PESSAT (mandatory) but there is no need to take the test. Candidate can directly attend the interview carrying creative portfolio and PESSAT hall ticket.
Eligibility Criteria
A minimum percentage of marks in 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board should not be below 45% of the total marks in case of general category applicants, 42% of the total marks for OBC category, and 40% of the total marks in case of SC and ST applicants.
Such a minimum qualifying marks shall not automatically entitle a candidate an admission to PES University. The above mentioned is only a minimum eligibility criterion and further the candidate must pass the test/ interview process at PES University to secure admission to the program.

Candidate should have passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English papers individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks together in PCB papers at the II PUC or 12th Standard i.e. (10+2).
The candidate belonging to SC/ST or other backward classes shall obtain 40% marks in PCB papers together in the qualifying examination.

1. Graduation in BE/B.Tech/M.Sc (Mathematics)/MCA from a recognized university, and at least 50% in the undergraduate degree

Candidates need to have a minimum work experience of 24 months by the time of commencement of the program
Admission is subject to clearing an interview with the University panel. The interview will evaluate the candidate’s understanding of the relevant concepts of Computer Science.
Note: Candidates shall submit the documents regarding graduation, transcripts and work experience for verification to the admissions office. Candidates will have to submit pay-slip, experience certificate, and Form 16 filing as proof of the work experience. If the candidate is unable to produce documents meeting the eligibility criteria, the admission process will not progress. Selected candidates will receive a letter of offer for admission from the University.

Candidates can vie for admission through either PESSAT/ MAT (if above 500 composite score/ 50th Percentile)/ CAT (if above 50th percentile)/ CMAT (if above 50th percentile)/ GMAT/ GRE scores. Candidates in any of the above cases should attend GDPI at PES University and only if they clear GDPI along with valid entrance test score can they proceed with admissions. Candidates who have registered for PESSAT or selected PES University in option entry during MAT registration will automatically get a call from PES for GDPI sessions. Others should approach the University for GDPI dates. Candidates appearing through PGCET should get the admission order from PGCET cell after attending counseling.

If a candidate is interested to apply for two or more courses, then he/she needs to register for those courses separately from https://pessat.com/ by paying the registration fee separately for each.
Candidates who have already registered for PESSAT need not do a fresh registration again. They can sign in by clicking on the sign in button on the top right part of https://pessat.com/ and by providing their name and email address which was used during registration. The registered name and email address will also be emailed to the registered email id of the candidate.
PESSAT test centre for courses at PES University Ring Road Campus and Electronic City Campus will be only at PES University Ring Road Campus.
Although B.Tech, BBA (Gen/ Hons), B.Com are offered at both Ring Road campus and Electronic city campus, PESSAT will be the same. For B.Tech, campus will be allotted during counseling based on the PESSAT rank of the candidate. For BBA, B.Com, candidates can choose the campus of their choice while registering for PESSAT on the PESSAT application form and the same campus will be allotted after the candidate takes & qualifies in PESSAT.
Admissions for Law courses (BBA,LLB/ BA,LLB – All Honors programs) can be done through either PESSAT/ CLAT/ LSAT scores. However, registration to PESSAT and payment of online registration fee of Rs. 1200 is mandatory even if admission is done through CLAT/ LSAT scores
Admissions for B.Arch course will be through the NATA/ JEE paper 2 scores. However, PESSAT registration is mandatory after which the candidate can upload the NATA/ JEE paper 2 score on our website when the NATA/ JEE paper 2 scores are announced.
Admission for M.Tech will be primarily done for 4 branches, which are, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering. However, after admission, the student would be provided with specialization options under each branch.
