Important Points Relating to Provisional Merit List and Admission

• Applicants are directed to go through the college Website for necessary information.
• PROVISIONAL WHOLE LIST based on merit and subsequent MERIT RANKS of the applicants are prepared on the basis of percentile of the applicants calculated by using the following rationalization formula:  Percentile of the applicant = {(Aggregate of the applicant from the Board Concerned e.g. WBCHSE) / (Maximum Aggregate of the applicant from the Board Concerned e.g. WBCHSE)} x 100.
• S.C, S.T, OBC-A and OBC-B applicants of the State of West Bengal only are eligible for reservation facility under these categories.
• PWD/Physically challenged candidates must upload scanned copy of self attested Medical Certificate issued by a Doctor of any recognized Government hospital and the percentage of disability must be clearly stated in such certificate. To avail of the reservation facility, disability percentage should not be less than 40% as per Government Order.
• Candidates allowed to take admission are to note the following instructions:
• Get ready with scanned copies of the following self attested testimonials of the candidates and upload:
• Digitized photograph of the candidate.
• Digitized signature of the candidate.
• Mark Sheet of 10+2 level/equivalent.
• Age-proof Certificate.
• Cast Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B) issued by the competent authority.
• PWD (Physically Challenged) Certificate issued by the competent authority.
• BPL Certificate issued by the competent authority.
• CU Registration Certificate.
• Exercise the option for the purpose of admission either in day or morning shift. The provision for exercising option will be there in the portal.
• Submit admission fees of Rs. 520 (Rupees Five Hundred twenty only) and other processing fees, if any, according to the instructions given in the portal.
  Other fees will be collected after the commencement of class.
• As per the Notification No. 804-Edn(CS)/10M-95/14, dated 13.05.2019 of the department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal regarding online admission for the academic session 2019-20 to all UG and PG courses, the prospective students should not be called for counseling or verification of documents during the process of admission. No physical presence will be required at the college. Admission will be cancelled if the documents are found not in conformity with those uploaded in the forms submitted online.
  As this college runs both morning and day shifts under the control of the office of the principal, combined list for day and morning shift is published. Candidates are allowed to exercise their final choice of shift. As the admission is strictly on the basis of merit, the admission list is published keeping in mind the total number of seats in the morning shift which is less than the number of seats in the day section for admission.
