Undergraduate Admission Important Dates, 2022-2023

ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR B.Sc. COURSES (2022-2023)

Applications for admission to the first year degree class in the science stream are invited from MALE candidates who have passed or whose results are awaited for the Higher Secondary/Equivalent Exam. in the year - 2022 as REGULAR CANDIDATES. Students from CBSE, ISC and other boards who have not yet received their Class 12 marks should enter their Class 11 Final marks in the application while filling the mark details under Class 12 / 10 + 2 Section. If such a student gets provisionally selected for admission after the Written Admission Test, he should also meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below based on his class 12 results by providing the Class 12 mark sheet at the time of his physical verification of the documents in the college, otherwise his admission stands cancelled. The date of physical verification of the documents for the provisionally admitted candidates will be notified later.

Application form will be available online (www.rkmvccrahara.org) from 15.06.2022 to 28.06.2022 (06:00 PM) on payment of Rs. 500/- online + extra Bank Charges further processing. A candidate must apply separately for each subject as per the eligibility criterion given below.

ADMISSION TEST

• All candidates have to appear in admission test. The test schedule is given below. No candidate will be allowed to take admission test without production of the Admit Card.

• Question & duration of Admission Test: All subjects of admission test are of 50 M.C.Q. Duration of test is 02:00 Hrs.
• Model Questions are available in website
• Students must bring their admit card and the copy of online payment receipt (proof of the submission of fees) on the dates of the Written Test. If any student fails to show the said two documents, his candidature is liable to be rejected.

OTHER MATTER

• APPLICATION FORMS WITH INCORRECT DATA WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION.
• THERE IS NO HOSTEL FACILITY. CANDIDATES REQUIRING ACCOMMODATION MAY CONTACT THE RAMAKRISHNA MISSION CALCUTTA STUDENTS' HOME, BELGHARIA.
• PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION ARE ASKED TO SUBMIT THE PRINT-OUT OF THE ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM, PROOF OF THE PAYMENT OF RS.500/- & ADMISSION FEES AND OTHER NECESSARY DOCUMENTS DURING THEIR PHYSICAL VERIFICATION OF THE DOCUMENTS IN THE COLLEGE.

List of Eligible candidates for PROVISIONAL ADMISSION

• For each combination of subjects there will be a separate list.
• In each list the names of candidates eligible for ADMISSION will be displayed.
• The names arranged in the list will indicate Merit Position of any eligible candidate.
• Mere appearing of the name in the list does not guarantee the admission of the candidate.
• The applicant accompanied with his father / legal guardian should report for PHYSICAL VERIFICATION of documents punctually at the time and date as indicated in the published list.
• A list of provisionally selected candidates based on MERIT will be displayed on the website and the selected candidates should be ready to get themselves admitted by depositing fees (through online mode), etc failing which they may lose their candidature and the same will be filled-up from the next eligible candidates.
• The provisional merit list of the candidate is based on the basis of the marks obtained in the Admission Test of the respective subject only.
• Important Note: Please note that if any candidate fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned previously his candidature will automatically stand cancelled as soon as it is detected at any stage of the admission process.
