Allotment of Seats

• # Admission to 1st year B.Tech. (Ag. Engg.) Course under the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering shall be made through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination-2019.
• Additional 20 seats for B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag., 6 Seats for B.Sc. ( Hons.) Hort. courses at Mohanpur are kept reserved for admission through All India Entrance Examination conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for the session 2019-20.
• Two (2) seats for B.Sc.(Hons.)Ag. for Mohanpur campus are kept reserved for the students belonging to Hill Tribe Quota recommended by GTA, Darjeeling, West Bengal.
• Two (2) additional seats (supernumerary quota) for B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. at Mohanpur Campus for Jammu & Kashmir students under Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS).

ELIGIBILITY
[B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. / B.Sc. (Hons.) Hort.]

• Age: Not less than 16 years as on 31.08.2019.
• Qualification Requirements:

  WBCHSE & Other Boards	WBSCVE&T (Vocational stream)
  E.Q.: Higher Secondary passed (10+2) with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.	E.Q.: Higher Secondary passed (10+2) with English, Biology (Compulsory academic elective), Physics or Chemistry (Compulsory/Optional elective) and any 2 (two) of the following vocational subjects related with Agriculture and Horticulture. Subject Code: (PPFV / POFR / POVG / HNMG / FMAP / CNMG / SEPR / PHMG / POFC).
  Percentage of marks: At least 50% of mark in aggregate in the aforesaid 4 (four) subjects for General/OBC/Sports Quota Candidates and 40% for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Candidates.	Percentage of marks: At least 50% of mark in aggregate in the aforesaid 5 (five) subjects for General/OBC Candidates and 40% for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Candidates.

• All the candidates must be a permanent domicile of West Bengal. In case of ICAR’s nominees, this clause shall not be applicable.
• The reservation of seats as per State Govt. declared policy will be followed for specific type of physically handicapped individuals who fulfil the minimum Physical fitness, essential to take theory and practical courses of agricultural education.
• Candidates having proficiency in Sports and Games can apply under Sports Quota for B.Sc.(Hons.) Ag. Course only.
• Minimum eligibility for Sports Quota: The candidate must have to represented District level competitions / tournaments or higher levels in Table Tennis / Badminton / Cricket / Football / Volleyball organized by District Sports Association / State Sports Association or similar other organization. Participation Certificate issued by appropriate District Sports Authority or higher level must be uploaded at the time of submission of application form.
  
  Candidates would be eligible for admission based on a sports trial to be conducted by the University authority at its own sports ground in presence of experts in individual fields of sports. The candidates appearing for the sports trial would be required to produce the Sports Certificate along with the District/State Player’s Identity Card, if any, in original, along with photocopy.
• Candidates seeking reservation / relaxation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC/PH quota must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation / relaxation as per eligibility criteria prescribed by Govt. of WB. They should be in possession of all the requisite certificate in the prescribed format in support of their claim and the date of issuance of certificate should be earlier than the closing date of submission of application.
• The candidates must be of good health and capable of undertaking extensive fieldwork. The selected candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination before admission.

CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION

SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS (IN A-4 SIZE PAPER) AT THE TIME OF COUNSELING

• Self attested copy of H.S. Mark-sheet (both side) & Age-proof certificate (Madhyamik admit card).
• Self attested copy of recent (not more than 6 months old) Medical Certificate from proper authority for physically handicapped persons along with CERTIFICATE FROM AN OPHTHALMOLOGIST (Original Copy) to rule out Refractive Errors & Colour blindness.
• Self attested copy of certificate (the category – SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B / SPORTS) of the competent authority under which candidate applied for).
• Self attested copies of Sports proficiency certificates (at least inter district level) of the competent authority.
• Self attested photocopy of the Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority (Chairman, Municipality/Pradhan, Gram Panchayat / B.D.O. / S.D.O.).
• Self attested copy of ADHAAR Card / Voter’s Identity Card issued by the Election Commission in favour of the candidate or his/ her parent (if any)/Guardian.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM

Opening date for submission of On-Line Application Form: 27/05/2019 at 12:00 Noon (Tentative).
Closing date for submission of On-Line Application Form: 15/06/2019 at 12:00 Midnight.

• Open your own e-mail ID, if you do not have any.
• Open BCKV website at www.bckv.edu.in and click on “Admission” and then choose “UG Admission 2019”.
• Click on “START FORM FILL-UP” button from Form fill-up Section to start the Application procedure.
• Fill in the On-line Application Form carefully with all the details.
• Upload Recent Colour Photograph & Signature. Both images should be in JPG/JPEG file format. Photograph resolution should be [3.5CM X 4.5CM] / [99px X128px] (Width X Height) and File size should be minimum 10 KB and maximum 150 KB. Signature resolution should be [3.5cm X1.5cm] (Width X Height) and File size should be minimum 5 KB and maximum 70 KB.
• Upload the Self Attested Admit Card of Secondary Examination (10th Standard) for age verification. Uploaded file should be in JPG/JPEG file format. Its Resolution should be [500 px X 800 px] (Width X Height) and File size should be minimum 150 KB and maximum 300 KB.
• Upload the Self Attested Mark Sheet of Higher Secondary Examination / H.S (Vocational) Examination (Bothside) [10+2 standard]. Uploaded file should be in JPG/JPEG file format. Its Resolution should be [500 px X 800 px] (Width X Height) and File size should be minimum 150 KB and maximum 300 KB.
• Upload the Self Attested Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PH category). Uploaded file should be in JPG/JPEG file format. Its Resolution should be [500 px X 800 px] (Width X Height) and File size should be minimum 150 KB and maximum 300 KB.
• Upload the Self Attested Participation Certificate (Sports Quota Candidates only). Uploaded file should be in JPG/JPEG file format. Its Resolution should be [500 px X 800 px] (Width X Height) and File size should be minimum 150 KB and maximum 300 KB.
• Make the payment for application fee using On-line (Debit Card/Net Banking/RuPay) or Off-line (e-Challan generation) mode. Off-line payment of application can be done at any branch of United Bank of India (UBI).
• After successful payment of Application fee one SMS & Mail will be sent automatically by the system to your mobile phone and e-mail id, respectively, containing the Application No. and transaction details.
• Application process is completed after successful submission of application fee.
• After completion of Registration, if you are not able to continue the admission procedure, you can always login into the system using Email-ID and Password (supplied by you in form fill up section) to continue the admission procedure.
• Correction/Modification of Application Form: The candidates can edit their entries online any time and any number of times by using Email address and password during the period 27/05/2019 to 17/06/2019 midnight. No changes / corrections / modifications in any form/mode would be entertained after 17/06/2019.

• Hosteller:
  Admission Fee Rs. 13,225/- including 1st Semester fee (Rs.7,075/-) + Hostel Admission Fee Rs. 3,000/- (refundable) = 16,225/-
• Day Scholar: Admission Fee Rs. 11,425/- including 1st Semester fee (Rs. 5,275/-).
