Particulars in respect of Entrance Test and other information are given below

Eligibility :

• Age :
  GEN : Not more than 20 years on 1st June, 2015. (i.e : D.O.B on or after 1/6/1995)
  SC / ST : Not more than 22 years on 1st June, 2015. (i.e : D.O.B on or after 1/6/1993)
  PH : Not more than 25 years on 1st June, 2015. (i.e : D.O.B on or after 1/6/1990)
• 10+2 Level Marks obtained from the Board recognized by the University of Calcutta :
  GENERAL : At least 45% marks in best four subjects.
  (Excluding Environmental Studies of WBCHSE).
  SC / ST / PH : At least 40% marks in best four subjects.
  (Excluding Environmental Studies of WBCHSE).

Application Fees :

• GEN : Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three hundred only)
• SC / ST / PH : Rs. 150/- (Rupees One hundred fifty only)

Age, Marks and Fees relaxations are applicable for those SC/ST applicants who have valid certificate from the competent authority of the Government of West Bengal only. Age, Marks and Fees relaxations are applicable for those PH applicants who have valid certificate from the competent authority. Please note that no concurrence has been received from Bar Council Of India for increasing the intent capacity for OBC candidate and OBC applicant will not get any relaxation and reservation benefit.

Steps for Online Application :

• STEP 1: Online Registration to get User ID and Password
  The eligible applicant shall register himself/herself at the link given in www.caluniv.ac.in
  Fields have to fill up :
  Citizenship; Colour Photograph upload (within 20-50 kb); Speciation Signature upload( within 20-50 kb); Name; Date of Birth according to 10th level record; Place of Birth; Father’s Name; Mother’s Name; Gender; Cast Category; Disability status; Permanent and Present Address; Mobile Number; Email; Educational Qualification Details of 10th level 10+2 level; best four subjects marks of 10+2 level and Security Questions (Last school attended and Grand Father’s name).
• STEP 2: Application Form Submission ( After getting User ID and Password)
  Fields have to fill up :
  Preferred Institution for Admission (Every field is mandatory and Value of no two fields should be same.) and Preferred Entrance Examination Centre (Every field is mandatory and Value of no two fields should be same.)
• STEP 3: Fees Payment
  Payment through DEBIT CARD/CREDIT CARD.
  OR
  Download SBI Challan and pay at any SBI branch.

Entrance Test :

• Date : 26/7/2015
• Time : 12 Noon
• Duration : Two and half hours
• Pattern : Off-line
• Question Type : MCQ

Instructions / Guidelines for Applications :

• It is suggested to candidates to carry recent testimonials, scanned photograph & signature with him/her while applying on-line, so that right information may be entered. The applicants are advised to fill information carefully because after successful registration and application form submission the editing regarding Cast Category/College preference/Centre preference etc. is not permissible.
• Applicants are advised to keep their User ID and Password in own custody. Also advised the Admit Card of the Entrance Test to keep in safe custody.
• Applicants are advised to take a print after successful Admission form submission and make it ready as and when required by the University /College authority.
• Centre for Entrance Test will be specified in the Admit Card.
• There is no negative marking and no cutoff marks for the Entrance Test.
• Institution wise Selection List will be published considering the merit of the entrance test and college preference given at the time of application form submission.
• Entrance Test Merit List and Institution wise selection list will be published at www.caluniv.ac.in.
• Individual Institution website address given only for more information regarding institution concerned.
• After publication of each phase of selection list candidates will be given two to three working days to get admit in the concerned college. So they have to make themselves prepare for the same with requisite fees and other necessary documents (original & photocopy).

Special Note :
Selected candidates are required to follow University rules and regulations regarding attendance and all other matters.
After getting admission transfer from Self-Financing Law College can only be to another Self-Financing Law College.
