Syllabus of Examination
The tests will be based on the 10th and 12th standard syllabi of various recognised boards/councils.
Schedule of SNUET-2019
15th – 30th April 2019
3 slots (per day): 11AM to 12:30PM, 1PM to 2:30PM, 3PM to 4:30PM
No further examination shall be held under any circumstances for those who will be unable to appear on the above scheduled date and time.
Pattern of Question Papers
The paper will have 7 (seven) different modules, namely;
- Basic English
- Basic Mathematics
- General knowledge/awareness
- Social Science
- Logical reasoning
- Physical Science
- Life Science
Eligibility Criteria for Application
- Citizenship: There is no restriction of nationality.
- Age: There is no upper or lower age limit.
Admit Card
Admit cards will be generated on the notified date for the student to download and take a print. Candidate has to carry a printed hard copy of the admit card to the examination centre.
Candidates must ensure that the admit card is not mutilated / distorted / soiled even by accident. Candidates with such mutilated / distorted / soiled admit cards will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
Candidates can generate duplicate admit cards only till the date of examination. Hence, candidates are advised to retain their admit cards carefully in secured place to avoid any damage to the document.
All verifications are to be done during counselling, admission, registration with the university etc. If at any stage after examination it is found on scrutiny that the applicant is otherwise ineligible, his/her candidature shall be treated as cancelled even if he/she had appeared in and secured a Merit Rank. Hence, appearing in the examination and securing a rank does not constitute a right/guarantee in favour of a candidate for his/her claim for admission.
Allocation of Examination Centre
During online application, the candidate has to choose any 1 of the following examination centres according to preference:
Domestic: Sister Nivedita University, Garia (Netaji Subhash Engineering College), Kasba (Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology), Durgapur, Midnapore, Alipurduar, Kolaghat, Raniganj, Falakata, Bankura, Coochbihar, Siliguri, Malda, Nabadwip, Asansole, Purulia, Contai, Hooghly, Batanagar, Jalpaiguri, Aliporeduar, Jamsedpur, Dhanbad, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, GUwahati, Ranchi, Patna, Bhuwaneswar, Agartala.
International: Dhaka, Chittagong, Jassore, Dubai, Nairobi, Der er Salaam, Johannesburg, Manila, Bangkok, Toronto, Kathmandu, Thimpu, Yangon, Ho chi Minh.
Allocation of examination centre will be based on the choices given by the candidate during online application and availability of seats therein. However, discretion of the Board in allocation of examination centre shall be final. No request for change of allocated centre will be entertained under normal circumstances.
Any examination zone may be dropped if adequate numbers of candidates are not available.
Evaluation and Declaration of Result
Duplicate rank cards cannot be generated at any later stage. Hence candidates are advised to retain their rank cards carefully in a secured place for all future purpose.
Ranks cards with scores will be issued to all candidates, who appeared in the examination. But all may not be awarded a rank and hence may not be eligible for counselling, for which a cut off rank and/or a cut off score will be decided by the board.
Counselling/seat allotment and admission: The counselling is conducted by the University. Successful candidates are advised to seek detailed information regarding counselling and admission from Sister Nivedita University.
