Date of Notification of Decentralized Counseling	09.11.2021
Online submission of application form will be started on & from	11.11.2021 from 00:01 hrs.
Last date of online submission of Application Form	22.11.2021 up to 23.59 Hrs.
Publication of merit list in the University website and Notice Board	23.11.2021 after 05:30 P.M.
Date of decentralized counseling and admission	will be notified later
Commencement of class	will be notified later

+ Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility of the candidates according to the order of preference (Vide G.O. No. No: 323-Edn(T)/10M-86/15 Dated 29.10.2021) of Department of Higher Education, (Govt. of WB) with the eligibility marks of H.S. Examination (10+2) as per WBJEEB guidelines, which is as follows:
a) Candidates with WBJEE-2021 rank (General Merit Rank in Engineering).

Condition of eligibility regarding H.S. Examination(10+2) marks as per WBJEEB guidelines:
• Candidate must have passed the Qualifying Examination Le. the '10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application / Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode
• Must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category i.e. SC. ST, OBC-A OBC-B, PWD) in the above three subjects taken together.
• Must have passed English in the "10-2 examination with at least 30% marks
• The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned.
Required Documents to be uploaded:
• Passport size color photograph of the applicant in .jpg format.
• Signature of the applicant in .jpg format.
• M.P. Admit or Birth Certificate
• H.S. Mark sheet
• Caste Certificate (Non Creamy layer certificate for OBC-A category ^#)
• Domicile Certificate (For OBC-A category ^#)
• WBJEE – 2021 Rank Card
^#Candidates under OBC-A category must upload Non creamy layer (OBC-NCL) certificate in the prescribed format (Given in the website www.ubkv.ac.in), issued by the competent authority not earlier than 1st April of previous year (i.e. 2020) and also to be uploaded domicile certificate in the Prescribed Format (See Annexure, Annexure-I, II & III).

+ Age

The lower age limit is 17 (Seventeen) years as on 31.12.2021. A candidate should have been born on or before 31.12.2004. There is no upper age limit.

+ Vacancy Status

# Actual vacancy might increase or decrease at the time of counseling & admission.
# After commencement of classes of 1st Semester 2021 within two month if any vacancy arises due to discontinuation of any student, the University can fill up that seat from the existing merit panel of Decentralized Counseling 2021 through spot admission.

+ Admission & other Fees

Net amount payable by the students during admission Rs. 18,100/- (Without Hostel) using debit / credit card only.

Note: Incomplete/mistaken application forms will be rejected. The University reserves the right to change/cancel the admission process due to unforeseen circumstances. The admission will be refused if original certificates/documents and corresponding attested photocopies of certificates/documents are not presented or submitted at the time of admission. Submission of any wrong information given by the applicant in the online application form may lead to cancellation of candidature of the applicant at any stage of his/her studies.

+ Hostel Facilities

Hostel accommodation might not be available for all admitted candidates. It depends on the availability of seats in hostel (It may be applicable after normalization of COVID-19 pandemic situation).
