Counselling & Admission of Geography 2014

The Counseling, Admission and the commencement of classes of Post Graduate Course in Geography for the Session 2014-2016 will be held according to the following schedule:

• Counselling: On 05.09.2014 (Friday) from 12 noon onward at Alapan, the College Auditorium. All the candidates whose names have appeared in the Merit List are directed to attend the Counselling. The candidates must reach the venue by 11:45 a.m. None will be allowed to enter the auditorium after 11:45 a.m.
  The candidates are required to bring the following testimonials along with them for verification:
  • Part I, Part II and Part III Examination results in original along with a photocopy of the same.
  • School Leaving Certificate/Admit Card for age verification and a photocopy.
  • Reserved Category (S.C / S.T / OBC) Certificate-Original and photocopy.
  • Two copies of pass-port size photographs.
• Admission: On 8.09.2014 (Monday) from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. The candidates selected for admission after Counselling will have to deposit Rs. 32,000/- (Rupees Thirty Two Thousand) as a part of the Course fee at Axis Bank, Belgharia Branch on Monday, 8.09.2014. Candidates will have to take admission on 08.09.2014 only.
  Declaration of vacant seats: 09.09.2014 (Tuesday) after 4 p.m.
• Date of Counseling for vacant seats, if required: 10.09.2014 (Wednesday) at 12.00 noon at “Alapan”
• Date of Admission ,if required: 11.09.2014 (Thursday) from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. at Axis Bank, Belghoria Branch
• Addressing and Commencement of Classes: On and from 11.00 a.m. Friday, 12th Sept, 2014.
• Total Number of Seats excluding OBC = 30

*Depending on the number of Physically Challenged (P.C.) applicants quota (1) will be considered as per rule as the above break-up does not permit any immediate allotment.

N.B.: Of the 40% reservation for candidates of other universities, representation will be proportional to the number of applicants from each university.
