Admission to M.Sc. in Zoology and M.Sc. in Electronic Science

(Under Course Specific Academic Autonom)

Applications (on-line) are invited from undergraduates from recognized universities for admission to M.Sc. courses in Zoology and Electronic Science under Course Specific Academic Autonomy offered by Calcutta University. Sixty percent (60%) of seats available shall be reserved for undergraduates from Calcutta University, while rest forty percent (40%) of the seats will remain open for students of all Universities including students of Calcutta University to compete.

* Candidates passed B.Sc. in the year 2013-2015 may also apply but the selection will be made as per the Calcutta University rule.

SCHEDULE OF ONLINE APPLICATION
From 05:00 P.M. of 4th July, 2016 to 5:00 P.M. of 4th August, 2016.

The last date for on-line submission of application form is 4th August, 2016 till 5:00 P.M.

The dates and places for submission of application fees are as follows :

After submission of on-line application, a receipt will be available, the printout of which is to be taken by the candidate.

Submit the printed receipt only at the designated branches of Axis Bank along with the application fee Rs. 200/- + Rs. 10/- as bank charges in cash within the cut-off date.

• Fill-in the form (don’t leave any field blank/vacant).
• Check whether all entries are correct or not.
• If incorrect, press reset button and fill it again.
• If correct, press submit button – a receipt will appear on the screen.
• Set the paper size to 'A4' in 'POTRAIT' orientation from the browser page setup.
• Click on the ‘Print this page’ button to take a print-out.
• Submit the receipt along with the application fee (cash) Rs. 200/- + Rs. 10/- as bank charges at the designated branches of Axis Bank within the specified date & time and collect the counter part duly sealed by the Axis bank.
• Retain the counter part for all future references.

The applicants are advised to check the payment status of their submitted application fees (Rs. 200/-) on this web site on 11/08/2016 and 12/08/2016. In case of any discrepancy, the same may be brought to the notice of the Officer-In-Charge (Admission) on 12th and 13th August, 2016 between 12-30 p.m. and 2-00 p.m. along with the printed receipt duly sealed by Axis Bank.
No request of any kind shall be entertained beyond 2-00 p.m. of 13th August, 2016.

Approximately a sum of Rs. 29,200/- for M.Sc. Zoology and a sum of Rs. 28,200/- for M.Sc. Electronic Science respectively will be charged at the time of admission which includes 4 months tuition fees. All charges have to be paid in cash.
