Admission Criteria
Criteria for Admission in Honours Courses
| Bengali Honours, History Honours, Education Honours, Political Science Honours, Hindi Honours |
| Candidates need to fulfill any one of the following conditions to get admission in the above mentioned subjects |
| 45% in subject + 50% in aggregate |
| OR |
| 55% in subject |
| OR |
| 50% in aggregate if the candidate has not studied the subject in the previous qualifying examination. |
| SC/ST Ccandidates : 40% marks in aggregate OR 40% marks in subject OR related subject |
| Accountancy Honours |
| Candidates need to fulfill the following conditions to ensure his / her admission in Accountancy Honours |
| Must have secured 55% and above in Accountancy at H.S. or its equivalent examination |
| Must have secured 50% in aggregate |
| SC/ST Ccandidates : 40% marks in aggregate OR 40% marks in subject OR related subject |
| English Honours |
| Candidates need to fulfill the following condition/s to get Admission Form for Merit List in English Honours |
| 55% in Subject |
| SC/ST Ccandidates : 40% marks in aggregate OR 40% marks in subject OR related subject |
| Geography Honours |
| Candidates need to fulfill the condition to get Admission Form for Merit List in Geography Honours |
| minimum 60%and above in Geography at H.S. or its equivalent exam |
| SC/ST Ccandidates : 40% marks in aggregate OR 40% marks in subject OR related subject |
| Journalism and Mass Communication Honours |
| Candidates need to fulfill the following conditions to ensure his/her admission |
| 60% and above in aggregate |
| 50% and above in any one language (Bengali Or Hindi Or English) |
