Online Application Eligibility Criteria for Admission to M.A. in English

• All (10+2+3) pattern English Honours Graduate applicants of UGC recognized Indian University of the current year and of the immediate preceding year are eligible to apply.
• Candidates passing Honours in English having 55% marks in undergraduate level from Indira Gandhi National Open University, Netaji Subhas Open University and the Distance Education Programme of other Universities in West Bengal of current and immediate preceding year are also eligible to apply.
• C.U. final year (2015) P.N.C. (part not cleared) candidates may also apply as “Appeared Candidate” to be included in the merit list after production of Pass Marks Sheet/ Certificate satisfying the requisite eligibility criteria at the time of Entrance Test.
• Non-C.U. final year (2015) candidates may also apply as “Appeared Candidate” to be included in the merit list after production of Original Pass Marks Sheet/ Certificate satisfying the requisite eligibility criteria at the time of Entrance Test.
• A self attested photocopy of Final Mark-sheet of 3 years Bachelor’s degree course will be collected by the invigilators from C.U. & non-C.U. ‘Appeared Candidates’ at the time of Entrance Test.
