Admission Notification 2015-2016

Application in prescribed forms are invited from candidates who have passed H.S. or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Agriculture or Vocational Agriculture with above combination as elective subjects and securing at least 60% marks in aggregate of above mentioned three subjects and 60% marks in best five subjects in H.S. or equivalent examination for General & OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST and PWD (Person with Disability) for admission to 4 years B.Sc. (Agriculture) Hons. and B.Sc. (Horticulture) Hons. Courses for UBKV, Pundibri Campus and College of Agriculture, Tapan, Dakshin Dinajpur under UBKV for the session 2015-2016.

One common merit list will be prepared for admission at UBKV, Pundibari Campus and College of Agriculture, Tapan, Dakshin Dinajpur under UBKV. However, candidates from Vocational stream must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in the H.S. examination. The candidates must attain the age of 16 years or above as on 01.06.2015. Application form has to submit online only on University website www.ubkv.ac.in on payment of Rs. 300.00 (Three hundred only) for general & OBC category and Rs. 75.00 (Seventy five) for SC/ST candidates through online and offline mode.

Only PWD candidates who’s disability percentage are 40% or above, will be treated as exempted candidates and no fees will be required. Otherwise PWD candidates will be treated as General Category. However, no application form without deposition of fee will be considered. Details information and admission related notifications are available in the University website www.ubkv.ac.in.

No admission form will be issued from University counter. SC / ST / OBC candidates of outside West Bengal will be treated as General category.

Starting date of submission of form	:	On the date of publication of H.S. result by WBCHSE.
Last date of submission of form	:	Up to 21 days from the date of start of submission of form
Publication of merit list	:	After Ten days from the last date of submission of form
Counseling & admission	:	To be notified in the merit list
Venue of counseling	:	At UBKV Campus, Pundibari, Cooch Behar for all admission of UG courses.
Start of class	:	To be notified in the merit list

The applicants have to upload scanned copies of the following Documents -

• Passport size photograph
  (Maximum size 20kb)
• Signature of the candidate
  (Maximum size 20 kb)
• Both side of Madhyamik Admit Card with self attested
  (Maximum size 200 kb to 300 kb)
• Both side of Higher Secondary Mark Sheet with self attested
  (Maximum size 200 kb to 300 kb)
• Both side of Caste Certificate (if applicable) with self attested
  (Maximum size 200 kb to 300 kb)
• Residential Certificate with self attested
  (Maximum size 200 kb to 300 kb)

The applicants have to submit attested copies of mark sheet(s) (Both Side) of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examination, Admit card / Certificate of Madhyamik Examination, SC / ST / PWD certificate, character certificate issued from the Head of the institution from where he/she has passed last examination, residential certificate from competent authority and one copy of pass port size photo along with the downloaded application form at the time of counseling, failing which his/her application liable to be cancelled.

The University reserves the rights not to admit any candidate if so decided by the Admission Committee.

N.B. :

• Admission to B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering will be guided by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Board and Department of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal.
• Students passing out from WBCHSE & Other Board and WB Vocational stream have to submit different specified form.
