Eligibility Criteria

• For B.Com. Honours :
  50% in aggregate with 45% in subject or related subject in H.S. Or Equivalent Examination

  Or

  55% in subject or related subject in H. S. Or Equivalent Examination (For SC/ST of West Bengal origin: 40% in aggregate or 40% in subject or related subject in H.S. Or Equivalent Examination)
  
  (For Physically Challenged and Outstanding Sports Persons: As in Rule for General.)
  
  (Aggregate means aggregate of best of 4 subjects in H.S. or Equivalent Examination and ‘subject’ or ‘related subject’ means: Accountancy, Business Economics including Business Mathematics, Business Organisation, Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Studies, Office Practice and Secretarial, Financial Accounting, Element of Cost Accountancy and Auditing, Book Keeping, Commerce, Cost Accountancy & Principles of Management.)
• For English Honours :
  50% in aggregate with 45% in subject in H. S. Or Equivalent Examination

• For B.Com. General : Passed in subject or related subject in H.S. or Equivalent Examination.
• For B.A. General : Passed in subject in H.S. or Equivalent Examination.
• • Passed in H.S. or Equivalent means : Passed in H.S. General or Vocational (WBHSC) / Other State Boards or Councils / Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya / National Open School recognized by Distance Learning Council.
  • For H.S. (WBHSC) : Passed in minimum four (4) subjects of 100 marks minimum for each, including English of 100 Marks.
  • For other Boards and Councils : Passed in minimum four (4) subjects of 100 marks minimum for each, including English of 100 Marks.
  • For all Boards and Councils : Environmental Education / Environmental Studies shall not be taken into account for aggregate but Environmental Science can be taken into account as one of the subjects for aggregate provided it is of 100 marks minimum.
