First Assembly Notice 2014

Notice dated - 27.08.2014

• Applicants, who have completed their B.A. / B.Sc. degree from University of Calcutta in the Provisional Merit List of CU candidates, are directed to assemble according to the following schedule for 1st counseling to get admission in the 60% of the total seats in both the subjects. Admission will be strictly on the basis of merit list. Candidates are advised to bring all original mark sheets, caste certificate (for SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC- B), age proof certificate, colour photographs, hard copy of the filled in form (copy of the online application), etc. at the time of counseling.
• If any applicant, whose name appears in the Provisional Merit List, fails to be present as per the schedule given below and unable to produce original documents then he/ she will miss his/ her chance for being admitted and would not be considered for admission. The decision of the college will be final and binding on all.
• If seats remain vacant or fall vacant through non-deposition of Admission Fees within the stipulated time frame given by the college after the 1st assembly then such vacancies will be filled-in through the Second Assembly strictly on the basis of merit list. Dates of Second Assembly (if required) will be communicated through College Website (www.vidyasagarcollege.edu.in) shortly after 1st counseling.

Important Instruction

• Doors of Assembly Hall will be closed at the notified time. No candidates will be allowed after the stipulated time.
• Assembled candidates will be informed about the number of seats.
• Names will be called serially according to merit list. Presence in the counseling does not ensure admission.
• Selected candidates will have to produce all original & photocopies of documents.
• Dates for submission of admission fees will be announced in the assembly hall.
• Selected candidates are directed to strictly follow the time schedule for submission of their Admission Fees, otherwise his / her eligibility for admission stands cancelled.
• Admission Fee for 1st Semester: Rs. 16,000/- for Geography and Rs. 20,000/- for Zoology.
