• Qualification & Eligibility :
  Candidates who have passed HS examination (Academic Stream of 10+2 curriculum) of any State / CBSE / ISC or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with the group subjects specified below and obtained the minimum eligible marks of 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taking together and pass in English in the qualifying examination.
• Age Limit :
  Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the academic year. Date of birth given in the Mark Sheet/Admit Card of any recognized board or council or in the Birth Certificate/Passport shall be taken for computing age of the candidate.

N.B. :
The above Tuition Fee, Admission Fee and Caution Deposit are permitted by the Govt. Of West Bengal, Department of Health & Family Welfare through letter no. - HF/O/MERT/1012/MERT/CEO-087/2013 dated 02/09/2013.

All Examination Fees, University Fees, MCI Fees or other statutory body fees are payable as and when applicable and will be charged on actual basis.

Hostel accomodation and related charges will be additional to the above fees.

• Filling in Application Form & Attaching Certificates :
  • Candidates should enclose only attested photocopies of the certificates relating to qualification, age and nationality such as H.S. Marksheet(s), Transfer Certificate etc. The original mark sheet(s) of the qualifying examination should not be enclosed. they have to be produced only at the time of admission to the course concerned.
  • Photographs : Candidates should affix four recently taken passport size photographs (colour) in the space provided (i.e. one on the front page of the Application Form and 3 on the Admit Card). The candidate should sign legibly across the photographs affixed on the Application Form and Admit Card, leaving some part of the signature outside.
• Syllabus :
  • The Entrance Examination will be based on the 10+2 syllabus followed by major 10+2 Boards / Council.

  • Candidate are advised to be at the Examination Centre 1 hour 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

• Admit Card :
  • Valid Admit Card must be produced by the candidates at the Entrance Examination centre without fail.
• Documents Required :
  Please ensure whether the following certificates (attested photocopies) / items have been enclosed along with the Application Form duly filled in :
  • Mark Sheet(s) of the qualifying examination (HSC / CBSE / ISC).
  • Birth Certificate for proof of age (if date of birth is not given in the HSC Mark Sheet).
  • Passport (for NRI / foreign students only).
  • Also one recent photograph has to be pasted on the front page of the Application Form and three other on the Admit Cards, all of which have to be duly signed by the candidates.
  • Photo identity proof in the form of Class-X Admit Card or Certificate with attested photo from Head of Institution last studied or copy of Passport.
• Verification of original certificates will be made at the time of admission. Selected candidates will have to deposit all required certificates at the college. Therefore, candidates are advised to keep with them enough number of attested photocopies of their original certificates.
• Medical Examination :
  • The candidates provisionally selected for admission will have to undergo a medical examination. Only those who are found medically fit will be admitted to the course.

The Application Form duly filled in all respect as per the directions given therein must be accompanied by non-refundable fee of Rs. 7000/- (Rupees Seven Thousand Only) by a demand draft in favour of "IQ City Medical College", drawn on any nationalised bank payable at Durgapur. These should be submitted by the candidate at either of the addresses latest by 25th August, 2014, 5:00 P.M. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. Results of the candidates qualified for admission on the basis of merit shall be published the College Notice Board as well as made available on the college website only after 3:00 P.M. on 10th September, 2014.
