Implementation of NCCF and Changes in Admission Process

• As per the press release dated May 31, 2023, the Expert Committee constituted by the state government has recommended the implementation of the National Curriculum and Credit Framework (NCCF) for 4-year UG courses from the academic year 2023-2024 in all government/aided/sponsored Higher Educational Institutions in the State.
• In line with these recommendations, St. Paul's Cathedral Mission College has made the following decisions regarding the admission process and course structure:
• B.A/B.Sc Hons Courses: The admission process for all B.A/B.Sc Hons courses will continue as usual. However, these courses will now be regarded as B.A/B.Sc Major courses, incorporating the principles of the NCCF.
• Minor Subjects: In addition to major courses, students will have the option to choose any two subjects as minor subjects, following the implementation of the NCCF.
• Suspension of B.A/B.Sc General Courses: The college will no longer be accepting admission forms for B.A/B.Sc General courses as students are now required to choose at least one major course.
• Students who have already paid for the admission form for the B.A/B.Sc General course have the following options:
• a. Reimbursement: If you have paid for the admission form, you may apply for a full reimbursement. Please submit your payment receipt to the Accounts Department for the reimbursement process. Mailing address office.spcmc@gmail.com
• b. Change of Course: Alternatively, you will be given the opportunity to fill up the admission form for major courses that fulfil the criteria. In such case Please contact office.spcmc@gmail.com giving details of your form, along with subject option (fluffing the criteria) and phone no.
• We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the suspension of the B.A/B.Sc General courses.
