1) FOR HONOURS CANDIDATES :
TOTAL OF ‘BEST FIVE SUBJECTS’ MARKS = X [ Those who have passed with four subjects, X = Total of four subjects multiplied by 1.25 ] MARKS IN THE SUBJECTS APPLIED FOR HONOURS = Y
MERIT POINT, M = X + Y
IF MERIT POINTS OF MORE THAN ONE CANDIDATES BECOME IDENTICAL THEN RANKING WILL BE DONE ON THE BASIS OF M1, WHERE M1 = M + Y.
IF M1 OF MORE THAN ONE CANDIDATES BECOME IDENTICAL THEN RANKING WILL BE DONE ON THE BASIS OF M2, WHERE M2 = M1 + Z (Z = ENGLISH)
IF M2 OF MORE THAN ONE CANDIDATES BECOME IDENTICAL THEN RANKING WILL BE DONE ON THE BASIS OF M3, WHERE M3 = M2 + K (K= MADHYAMIK % ).
2) FOR GENERAL CANDIDATES :
MERIT POINT = TOTAL OF BEST FIVE SUBJECTS’ MARKS = M [ Those who have passed with four subjects, M = Total of four subjects multiplied by 1.25 ] IF MERIT POINTS (M) OF MORE THAN ONE CANDIDATES BECOME IDENTICAL THEN RANKING WILL BE DONE ON THE BASIS OF M1, WHERE M1 = M + Z (Z = MARKS IN ENGLISH).
IF M1 OF MORE THAN ONE CANDIDATES BECOME IDENTICAL THEN RANKING WILL BE DONE ON THE BASIS OF M2, WHERE M2 = M1 + K ( K = PERCENTAGE OF MADHYAMIK %).
