National Testing Agency has been mandated by the Ministry of Education and UGC to conduct Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission into Postgraduate Programmes in Central and other participating Universities / Institutions / Organizations / Autonomous Colleges.
CUET (PG) will provide a single window opportunity to students seeking admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) or other participating organizations (including State Universities, Deemed and Private Universities) across the Country.
CUET (PG)-2023 will be conducted as per the details given below:

The Common University Entrance Test-PG for admission to postgraduate courses in universities across the country will be conducted from 05th - 12th June 2023, the National Testing Agency announced on Thursday. In view of several new universities opting for the test, the NTA extended the application deadline till 05th May 2023.
“Candidates are advised to regularly visit the NTA website for latest updates regarding the examination,” a senior official said.
The University Grants Commission has mandated all central universities to use CUET scores for undergraduate admissions, but has kept it optional for post-graduate intake.
As of now, 180 universities including central, state and private institutions, have come on board to conduct postgraduate admissions with CUET-PG scores. Unlike CUET-UG, the PG exam will be conducted in two shifts per day. UGC has decided to conduct the under-graduate exam in three shifts from this year.
“There is no age limit for candidates to appear for CUET (PG). Candidates who have passed their bachelor’s course or an equivalent examination or are appearing in 2023, irrespective of their age, can appear in the exam. The candidates, however, will be required to fulfil the age criteria set by the university of their choice,” the official added.
