Eligibility Criteria 2023
Criteria for Major Course in Four-year B.A. /B.Sc. (Honours with or without Research) | Criteria for Three-year B.A./B.Sc. (Multidisciplinary) |
At least 50% marks in aggregate in H.S. or Equivalent Examination with at least 45% marks in the subject/related subject opted for Major Course. OR At least 55% marks in the subject/related subjects opted for the Major Course. OR 50% marks in the aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subjects in her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied. |
Candidates must secure pass marks in aggregate in their respective 10+2 Final Board Exams and in the subjects they opted for. |
For SC/ ST Candidates 40 % marks in aggregate or 40 % marks in subject or related subject in H.S or Equivalent Examination along with the SC/ ST certificate in the name of the candidate is required |

(10+2) level from W.B.C.H.S.E. are not eligible to take admission in Economics Honours. Candidates of Economics Major have to take up Mathematics as one of the Minor subjects. |
