Admissions open for Certificate Course Level-I of 6 months in the following Languages under the School of Languages & Culture of the University:
Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Functional Bengali, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Sanskrit, Santali, Spanish, Tamil, Tibetan, Urdu.

Minimum Qualifications for Admission:
Madhyamik passed or equivalent (for admission in Santali, Functional Bengali, English courses) and Higher Secondary/Equivalent passed for other language courses.

Class Timings:
Late Afternoons/Evenings, two days a week, including Saturday/Sunday for certain language courses.

Course Fees:
For Indian Citizens Only Rs. 3000/- (for English and Foreign Language courses) each level; and Rs. 2300/- (for Indian Language courses) each level, all inclusive.

Admission forms may be collected from 22nd November 2023 to 22nd December 2023, from the Office of the School of Languages and Culture, RBU (New Building), E. B. Campus, 56A, B. T. Road, Kolkata-700050. From 12:30 P.M. to 03:30 P.M. only for level one. Admission Days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (except University Holidays).

Admission Timings: From 12:30 P.M. to03:30 P.M. (22nd November 2023 to 22d December 2023). Applicants are requested to submit the filled-up application Form along with a recent passport-size colour photo and self-attested copies of Admit Card (Madhyamik & Equivalent Exam) and Marksheets of all examinations passed (Madhyamik/H.S/Graduation etc.) at the time of admission.

Commencement of classes of this Session: January, 2024.

Certificate will be awarded to Level-I, Level-II, Level-III, separately. Diploma will be awarded after completion of Level-IV.
Each level is of 5 credit and 6 months duration.
