The founder of this college Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar was born in 1921. This year would be the hundredth year’s birthday celebration. This is Centennial anniversary on the very holy day of Buddha Purnima. This anniversary will be observed throughout the globe from home. Every Ananda Margi will offer their love and devotion from home under 'lock down' period. As the Teacher in charge of this college, I will also do the same. Our great philosopher Shrii PR Sarkar enlightens the Ananda Nagar by spreading the light of knowledge throughout with this educational institution. At present the College is affiliated with Sidho Kanho Birsha University, Purulia. The college has three sections- undergraduate Boys section, undergraduate Girl's section and Higher Secondary section. This H.S section is under W.B.C.H.S.E The College has Honours subjects like Bengali, English, history, geography and philosophy. Very soon we are going to introduce P.G in Bengali, B.C.A and skill development courses like - Yoga, Meditation and Naturopathy, Beautician course, Agriculture courses, and few technical education programs. We are also planning to introduce NCC and NSS; new science Labs will be functional very soon. We have a big and nature friendly hostel for boys adjoining the college campus. We have skilled and supporting lecturers and professors who work very hard and take all the responsibilities to educate them and lead them towards the path of success. I wish all the students and the staffs of the college a successful career ahead.
