Sadhan Chandra Mahavidyalaya, established in 2007, has emerged one of the promising educational institution in South 24 Parganas. This college is affiliated to the University of Calcutta in the year 2007 and initially offered General courses in humanities subjects.
Gradually its affiliation was extended to teach various Honours subjects like Bengali, English, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Education, Sanskrit and General subjects like like Bengali, English, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Education, Sanskrit and Geography. The primary objective of the institution is to impart knowledge to the students. Besides, the college aims at all round development of the personality of the students through cultivating their sensibility to beauty, harmony, value system, culture, social justice, heritage, scientific temper and environment.
