Degree College permanently affiliated to the University of North Bengal and enlisted under Section 2(F) and 12 (B) of the U.G.C. Act, 1956. This institution is accredited by NAAC with Grade-B. It is situated on the Dhupguri-Falakata Road and reachable from the District town Jalpaiguri in one hour journey by bus/train. The College is situated in an area known as Dooars which is the tea-belt of North Bengal other than Darjeeling.
