In the district of Birbhum of West Bengal there is only one B.Ed. College situated under the Mayureswar Police Station. To cater to the long-standing need of the educated youths of the district and other districts as well to undergo a teacher training
course, establishment of a B.Ed. College was keenly felt. To meet this demand, the Gramsalika Sree Ramkrishna welfare and service Socity came forward. Prompted by a sense of philanthropic mission to provide quality education for the teachers to be, the Trust set up the Mahula Sree Ram Krishna Teacher's Training Institution. This is the first self- financing college importing the B.ED Training course in the District of Birbhum.
Thus the college was established in September 2008, Mahula Sree Ram Krishnan Teachers’ Training Institute is situated in Birbhum, West Bengal. The college offers one-year Bachelor of Education course to the aspiring teachers. Mahula Shree Ram Krishnan Teachers’ Training Institute is affiliated to the University of Burdwan, West Bengal and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The co-ed college is governed by Gramsalika Sree Ramkrishna welfare and service Society. Mahula Sree Ram Krishnan Teachers’ Training Institute offers all the basic amenities in its campus.
